Review: Glove Dogs

Construction:
Felt outside. Cedar chip stuffing.

I ruined a few pairs of mma/boxing gloves before I was turned on to these. Now I will never live without them.

When I finally came around to using them, I was shocked at how effective they were. Evertime I put on my gloves now, they are dry and smell as sweet as a pair of Jessica Simpson's panties (I don't know this from experience, but please allow me this one fantasy).

Make putting these into your gloves part of your post workout routine and you will not regret it.

Review: Everlast Professional Hook-and-Loop Training Gloves - Black

I have been using these gloves for about 8 months now and I like them quite a bit. They are multi-purpose for me as I use them sparring, hitting pads and hitting the heavy bag.

Composition:
Real leather outside. Nylon inside. Velcro staps. Five layer foam padding.

Construction Quality:
The construction on these is top notch and the leather is high quality. I guess you'd expect that from a company that has been making boxing gloves for like a hundred years.

Fit:
These gloves hardly needed any break in period at all and were very comfortable after only a few uses. I have very long skinny hands and they do feel a little tight with wraps on. I do have to wonder how they fit someone with big meaty paw-hands.

Pros:
The very wide velcro straps probably provide a little less wrist support than lace up glove models, but I laugh when other dudes struggle to get their gloves laced up while I just pop mine on and use my teeth to strap the velcro.

Cons:
After 8 months of moderate use, they are still in great shape, the only visible wear is that the Everlast logo on the wrist closure has faded considerably.
